Susan and Matt got married last Saturday. They're incredibly sweet and nice couple. Marcin & I drove up to New Haven for their wedding. For the cocktail hour both of them switched their attire for Hanboks and they looked awesome!
A special double congratulations to them as Matt is graduating this weekend and will be Dr. Egalka!!! What a joyful two weekends... and wishing them much success for all weekends to come.

Lynn + Brendan

I shot Lynn and Brendan's E-session today and I'm shooting their wedding in June. They're very laid back yet fun couple. They, actually it was Lynn, kept on laughing when I kept on saying "excellent" (and yes, I tend to do say this over and over again, frame after frame!! But... I really do mean it!!). Thanks guys for putting up with it... it was truly fun to hang out with you, chat and shoot.

More of Magda + Al

Due to bad weather on their wedding day we rescheduled a little shoot for them around where I live. There's lots of farms, beautiful scenery and we were very glad to find some interesting and original places to shoot. Actually we had a blast! It was a beautiful afternoon and the light was just perfect. We hang out, checked out the funky local scenery and just enjoyed ourselves.

Key West Weekend

We went away for the weekend to Key West (I think this is the part of Florida that I really like - well the only part I like). It was so much fun. I love to relax on the beach in the shade or in the water. Sitting under a palm on a warm sand is just so joyous. In addition to lots of relaxing we did manage to visit a butterfly conservatory - what a lovely and peaceful creatures! The patterns on their wings are nature's true miracle. Beautiful. We also para-sailed which was so much fun and excitement (especially after seeing a shark and having them "dip" you in the water when going down!!! Talking about an adrenaline rush!).
This was the only free weekend we have for some time now so it was well used to recuperate and get ready to plunge back into work, shooting weddings.

Magda +Al

Magda and Al - friends of mine had a wedding celebration dinner with their family and close friends last Sunday. It was held in a lovely Riverview Restaurant/Lounge in LIC. They had friends performing at their party along a lovely hired Latin band.

Fuyu + Jonathan - Slideshow

Fuyu + Jonathan live right on Wall Street where we meet the morning of THE DAY. Fuyu got her hair and makeup done and we headed out on the streets of Downtown. The pictures were strictly photo-journalistic as Fuyu was very camera shy and mentioned to me before we met that if posed she would feel uncomfortable. So, what did we do? Let them be themselves and enjoy each other - as I feel this is the simple most important thing you can do during your wedding :)

Now, the ceremony and reception was in what some might say - an unusual place (for a wedding)... Galapago's Art Space is a well known bar/club in Williamsburg. As a matter of fact I hang out there many times... many years ago :) Truly unique place lots and lots of cool concerts. Their DJ was also truly unique - spinning vinyls of old classics - excellent choice of music.

Also, I'm not big cake eater/lover BUT I managed to try one of their cup cakes and they were just AWESOME! Sooooo Goooood... They were from Sugar Sweet Sunshine Bakery and you should definitely try some!!!

Back in the Game...Tracey + Brian - Slideshow

What a stressful week! I must have made a thousand phone calls! At last my website is up again with hosting provided by highly recommended company. They must hate me right now but I called and called and called... and last night... I finished re-uploading everything to my new server.
I'm very relieved and happy.

Now...back to business... Last Friday I shot Tracey + Brian's wedding. It was a lovely, small and intimate affair. Tracey looked gorgeous and Brian was a sharp man as well. Here's the slide-show of their special day. Enjoy.
