The Fine Art Albums...

I am striving for albums that showcase photographs, your beauty and emotions rather than a design extravaganza. I believe that sometimes less is more. While still keeping a story telling flow of the books, I want each photograph to state something special about your day and the book to be beautiful as a whole. Simple and elegant. I made a sample below, it's a smaller than usual album spread but it was a very small and intimate wedding I shot for Caitlin and Mark who came to NJ from CA to be with closest family and friends for their special day.

Square book 2 page spreads:

Going back in time...

On this lovely but cold Saturday morning, I'm sitting at my computer, drinking delicious coffee and organizing my oldest files I still have stored in the computer. I found some pretty old stuff, that although I have it all on film and most in print, I have hard time erasing from my drive. All of the photos were taken with my ol' manual Nikon and B&W film. Most of them are from my early school years. I just love looking at them. I hope you'll enjoy.

I'm back!!!

A short absence due to few new things happening in my life!!! I have moved over the river to NJ- Now I'm an official "country girl" - no, not really I'll always have that city spirit in me.

I love the fact of still being so close to NYC I can hop over any time yet have the quietness of a country side. trees, birds, lakes, mountains..... We, humans always dream of the best of two worlds and I think I've gotten it!
Here's few pictures I've snapped while trying to organize, paint, clean and all that lovely stuff that comes with a new place.

The last picture was taken with my new wicked Holga lens made to fit digital cameras!! How cool is that? A plastic camera I love I can transfer into digital! I simply love the feel of it...don't you?
